About the Band:
Internationally acclaimed soprano Danielle Pastin, joins the Tuesday Night Big Band, performing favorites from the Great American Songbook, and more! Launched in 2003, the Tuesday Night Big Band has quickly become Pittsburgh's Premier Big Band due to its incredibly talented core of professional musicians and uniquely flexible repertoire consisting of original arrangements by the band's directors Richard Mansfield (musical director, arranger/ conductor of the "American Soundtrack Series as seen on PBS) and the late Joe Campus. The band's repertoire spans the decades from the "The Golden Era of Big Band Swing", through 50's, 60's & 70's "Doo Wop" hits, to today's "Pop" sounds.
