Reiki Biophilia with The Thinking Branch

If you combine the awareness of a walking meditation, the immersion in nature through forest therapy and the energy work of Reiki, then you have Reiki Biophilia. Walking meditation uses simple movements as a way to calm your mind and build awareness. Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique where the practitioner funnels positive, healing energy directly to you in either a hands-on or hands-off approach. Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, translating to forest bathing. The benefits of being in nature has been proven to reduce stress, build immunity, and strengthen mental capacity. By combining the benefits of all three modalities, you will become more aware of yourself and your environment by connecting to the present moment for improved mental and emotional wellbeing.

Join this practice with an open mind. There are no expectations or “normal” experiences. Each Reiki Biophilia journey is personal, and no two experiences are the same.

Please dress for the weather, wear shoes appropriate for walking in the woods and bring a water bottle if needed. You may also consider a journal to deepen your experience.
