Author and Pittsburgh native Lisa Donovan will share her love of birds and read her children's book Birds in My Backyard--a whimsical celebration of the incredible birds that we see in our area. The reading will be followed by a bird-collage-making activity led by illustrator Dee Paras. A short birdwatching hike with a naturalist educator will conclude the session. This program is best suited for parents and caregivers with children under 10 years old. Books will be available for sale.
