We look forward to welcoming your team for a family-friendly morning of volunteering at McKinley Park! We will be doing mulching, litter-picking, and weeding and light invasive species removal throughout the woods and garden beds. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated in helping to maintain beautiful outdoor spaces serving the children and residents who frequent McKinley Park.

The Parks Conservancy and partners will provide gloves and tools, but be sure to wear long pants, comfortable clothing that can get dirty, and closed-toed shoes. Because you will be walking in deer populated areas, please wear socks that you can pull over your pants to decrease tick exposure. As we will be outdoors and in the sun, please also wear sun protection like sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

Photos/Media: Please note that a photographer or PPC staff may be on-site to capture photos and video from the program. The photos/video captured may be used to help the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy further promote its mission.
