3 Rivers Outdoor Co., the Pittsburgh Innovation District, and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy have teamed up to bring biweekly yoga to Schenley Plaza for the 2023 season.
Welcome to your post-work, post-class Happy Hour Yoga Flow in Oakland! Skip the stress of rush hour and stretch in the grass at Schenley Plaza as our instructors lead you through a one-hour flow - this drop-in, pay-what-you-feel class meets every other Thursday at 5:30pm - beginning April 6th. Please bring your own mat.
Heartfulness Yoga: This teaching style is a meditative approach to Yoga that allows us to explore the physical, mental, and spiritual all at once. Heartfulness Yoga brings you this full spectrum of Yoga by creating a seamless flow between asanas, pranayam, and meditation in every class designed to carry you deeper in your journey. The Heartfulness Yoga class starts with a breathing exercise, then moves on to simple loosening practices to warm up the body, followed by sun salutations and a series of carefully selected asanas that move the pranic energy in a certain order. After the physical asanas, the Yoga class usually ends with a short Heartfulness meditation. All levels are welcome.
