May 8th is World Migratory Bird Day! Celebrate migrating birds as they pass through Frick Park this spring. Sign up for a hike through the Frick Woods to learn about these tiny travelers and what the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Allegheny Goatscape, and The Carnegie Museum of Natural History are doing to help them along their way. The hike is approximately 1 mile long and will take roughly 1 hour.

If you would like to make a pair of practice binoculars to take on your hike with your family, please register for a binocular making session at least 30 mins before your hike time slot. If you would like to make up your own hike with your family, you are welcome to sign up for binocular making separately. (Binocular making is geared towards children aged  3-8.) Your registration confirmation email will have links to register for Binocular Making.

The Frick Environmental Center is an ADA accessible facility. The nearest bus stop is the 61 A or B at Forbes and Dallas. *note, there is a stretch with no sidewalk, and a hill in between the bus stop and the Environmental Center.

We're sorry, the deadline for buying tickets for this event has passed.
