Making Your Parks Shine - Schenley Plaza

 25th Anniversary Icons

SCHENLEY PLAZA

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is celebrating 25 years of improving, maintaining, and caring for Pittsburgh’s parks by creating a collection of immersive and inclusive lighting installations across the city. Known as “Making Your Parks Shine,” these six installations are a visual celebration of some of Pittsburgh’s most beloved park spaces. Each site will be illuminated the evenings of Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2.

As part of our celebration, please join us for a community block party the evening of Friday, October 1 at Schenley Plaza. The party will include music by DJ Royal Haunts, local bites from the Schenley Plaza kiosks, and family-friendly activities, including a miniature golf course & glow-in-the-dark lawn games! This event is free and open to the public thanks to generous support from PNC and UPMC Health Plan.

Please register below and join us for a dazzling good time!

Event address: 4100 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15260 | Time: 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.

Parking is available along Schenley Drive or a limited number of spaces at the Frick Fine Arts Building. The site is accessible by road and is ADA accessible.
