The city is a unique habitat full of animals that have adapted to live alongside humans. Join a naturalist educator for a reading of Wild Ones: Observing City Critters by Carol L. Malnor and search for critters in Allegheny Commons.

This hike/activity is best for families with younger children (under 8). Under 1 mile, slow paces, route with paved path

Please note that a photographer may be on-site to capture photos and video from the program. The photos/video captured may be used to help the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy further promote its mission. Please advise the photographer on-site if you DO NOT want your photo/video taken.
