Join us for a casual morning of watching, listening to, and enjoying birds! This event is designed to be intentionally inclusive and accessible for beginner birders and folks who experience accessibility challenges as a result of a disability or other health concerns. With that said, all are welcome to attend. Instead of a long hike, we will spend our time on the paved paths near the bird feeders of the Frick Environmental Center, utilizing elevators as needed to access lower levels of the building for different views of the birds. Extra binoculars, folding chairs, coffee, and tea will be available for attendees. For detailed accessibility information on this location, please visit the Frick Environmental Center Birdability Site Review and follow the directions below:

1. Visit https://gis.audubon.org/birdability/
2. Scroll down the page until you find the Birdability Map, a rectangular window displaying a map of the world with many yellow diamonds. Each yellow diamond represents a different accessibility site review. Clicking on any of the diamonds will pull up a sidebar full of information and photos about the site you clicked on.
3. From here you have two options:
a. Use the search bar in the top right corner that reads, "Find address or place" to type in the name of the site review (Frick Environmental Center + Clayton Loop Trail - Frick Park.) You'll likely find that the search bar suggests the full title to you after you've typed the first few words. Click on the full title to read the site review.
b. Zoom in on the map toward southwestern Pennsylvania. We are currently the only Birdability Site Review in the region, so once you zoom in close enough and see a yellow diamond near Pittsburgh, click on it to read the full site review.

This hike/activity is truly for all ages! Hike is under 1 mile, pace slow, surface type paved path, flat grade. Hike is accessible for people with mobility challenges.
