| A More Sustainable Approach to Garden Maintenance
As the cold arrives in Pittsburgh, you may have noticed that perennials are not removed from your favorite park gardens. That's because our Horticulture and Forestry team implements sustainable land care practices to reduce the impact of standard landscaping on our environment. Instead of cutting back and removing perennials in advance of the winter season, we have transitioned to a more sustainable method of leaving the plants throughout the winter months. Read about the practice in our blog post below! 🌻
Sustainable land care efforts are generously supported by the EQT Foundation. |
